Departure from Djerba

1st day:

Arrival at the airport of Djerba: transfer towards a three stars hotel, reception, assistance and accommodation.
Half board in a hotel in Djerba.

2nd day:

DJERBA/MEDENINE/METAMEUR/TOUJANE/MATMATA/DOUZ
After the breakfast, allocates for MEDENINE via the Roman road, visit of Ghorfas, ancient wheat silos and continuation towards METAMEUR and MATMATA via the village of TOUJANE by crossing a magnificent track looking at pleasant mountainous landscapes. Arrived at Matmata where the main part of the housing environment is buried underground, dug in soft rocks what allowed to increase rooms at any time. Visit the cave dwellings and the location of staging the famous movie Star Wars. After Lunch, continuation towards DOUZ via Tamezret. Arrival at DOUZ: gate of the desert and the capital of the nomads. Every winter since 1967, this city hosts the international festival of Sahara where tribes present to the visitors the traditional ceremonies giving rhythm to the time of the nomad.
Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.
Have lunch in MATMATA.
Half board in the hotel in DOUZ.

3nd day:

DOUZ/KEBILLI/CHEBIKA/TAMERZA/MIDES/TOZEUR/NEFTA/OUNG DJEMEL
Departure after the breakfast towards three oases of mountains, arrival at CHEBIKA one of the most beautiful Berber villages lined with a famous oasis of waterfalls, continuation towards TAMERZA by-passing all the hill known by its canyons, visit of the palm grove then departure towards the 3rd oasis MIDES and visit of the oasis and the canyons.
Continuation towards TOZEUR or country of palms with its oasis covers more than 1000 ha and counts near a half-million palm trees.

Afternoon, departure towards NEFTA and visit of the basket of the city, Continuation through the track towards Oung Djemel DESERT CITY place of shooting the famous film STAR WAR .

Then return to TOZEUR.  Full board stay at a three stars hotel.

4th day:

TOZEUR/CHOTTELJERID/DBABCHA/STAFTIMI/GABES/DJERBA
In the morning, visit of the oasis of Tozeur in carriage (optional), the ancient city as well as an entrance to the museum DAR CHRAIET. Continuation to Gabès by crossing  CHOTT EL JERID for a brief stop in the big Tunisian salt lake. Arrival at Gabès, place of maritime oasis and visit of the market JARA then continuation to Djerba via the ferry.

8th day:

Transfer departure to the airport of Djerba
